Solve B2000, P160A, and P0601 checksum errors on all VAG modules with only 1 click.
A checksum error stops a module dead. The unit is healthy, the wiring is fine, but the control unit refuses to accept its own stored data and the car comes back on a truck. Until now that meant either replacing a module that had nothing wrong with it, or sending it away.
One-Click Solution is our new software, and its first function does that job in one operation: it resets the checksum error and the module accepts its data again.
The codes it covers
B2000, P160A and P0601 are the ones you will recognise, and they are not the only ones. Any control unit that has stored a checksum fault is a candidate.
87 modules, 9 brands
The function is not limited to the engine ECU. It covers 87 control units across the vehicle: engine and transmission, gateway, immobiliser, ABS and ESP, airbag, cluster, steering assist, climate, parking brake, adaptive cruise, head-up display, radio and navigation, door and seat modules, tyre pressure, tachograph and more.
It runs on the whole Volkswagen Group: Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, SEAT, MAN, Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche and Cupra. Each one opens as its own card in the software, and the procedure behind them is identical.
How it runs
- Install One-Click Solution from OBD Portal Quick Start.
- Connect your J2534 PassThru interface to the vehicle's OBD port.
- Pick the brand, pick the module, and start. The software does the rest.
What it costs
10 tokens per use. There is no licence to buy, nothing to activate and no subscription — you are charged when the function runs, and only then. If you do not use it, it costs you nothing.
DTC Clear is free. It works on every brand and every module, with no token cost, for as long as you have the software.
What it does not do
The function resets the checksum error. It does not repair unrelated faults: other stored trouble codes and dashboard warnings stay where they are until you clear them, and you can do that with the free DTC Clear function or your usual diagnostic tool. If a module has a genuine hardware failure, this will not change that.
What you need
- A Windows PC (10 or 11)
- Any J2534 PassThru interface — Scanmatik, Autel VCI and others
- An OBD Portal account and tokens
